1969 gto convertible: family owned for over 30 years, this gto underwent a full nut and bolt body off restoration. A completey matching numbers documented car with paperwork this is a real car. Hello all,up for sale is a previously owned 2000 jeep cherokee xj sport 4. 0l in silver metallic color. This is a relatively low mileage cherokee compared to most that available for sale. Exterior conditionthe body is in decent condition with certain common cherokee problems. The cross member has erosion and will need to be changed. The driver side rocker panel is rusted out and will need to be changed. I will also include a few spray bottles of the factory silver color match paint from automotive touchup, one of the best paint suppliers. The front passenger fender flare was taken off by a big gust of wind while driving on the highway and is missing from the vehicle. The rear bumper has a small dent in it, which can be seen in the pictures. There is some surface rust on the roof, but nothing that is major and can be repaired with little work. The windshield in usable shape but is worn and would be wise to replace with a new unit. The tires are in very good shape and still have a few thousand miles on them. Interior conditionthe interior of the cherokee is in pretty decent shape. It does have the dreaded and common worn driver seat and could use a new one for a more comfortable drive. Passenger seat and rear seat are in excellent shape overall. The carpet has some wear points on the driver and passenger side which is hidden under the floor mats. Head liner was replaced last year with new material and does not sag. It has the original spare tire that appears unused with stock factory cover. The stock radio and speakers were changed by previous owner to a cd player. Center console door latch engager snapped off so the center console door does not have positive engagement. Drivetrainthe cherokee is a 4-speed automatic, with 2wd, 4x4 high, neutral & 4x4 low transfer case. The front differential is a dana 30 and the rear differential is a chrysler 8. 25". Both are stock with 3. 55 gearing. Engine conditionthe engine is in good shape, and doesn't have any serious issues, but should be given a good service as any new owner should do when acquiring a new car. It has good oil pressure and doesn't make any crazy sounds when running. The a/c is common issue with the cherokee's and this jeep isn't an exception. The a/c compressor makes a squeaking sound when the engine is warm and does not activate when the a/c is turned on. There is a check engine light for an emissions leak which is most likely coming from the emission line going into the vapor canister, but is not confirmed. Regardless of the simple issues, the jeep is in driving condition. Things done to the cherokeeas stated above, the headliner was replaced with new material last year. The wheels, including the spare, were media blasted and repainted. The original unused factory spare tire was removed and reattached when the wheel was redone. A k&n filter took place of the original filter for better flow. A new delphi fuel pump replaced the failed factory unit last year and was installed by lowering the tank, no hole cutting. The fuel injectors were upgraded to bosch 4 hole injectors for optimum fuel atomization and give the 4. 0 a wake up call. The battery is a diehard and is practically new, 1-1/2 years old. The fine printthis sale is for a used 2000 jeep cherokee sport and is being sold as is. The sale is final and all questions about the jeep should be submitted before the auction ends to avoid any confusion. Shipping is not included and the vehicle must be picked up. The vehicle must be picked up within five (5) days after the auction ends. If the vehicle is not picked up within the time stated, the auction agreement will become null and void and the cherokee will be re-listed for sale.
